Tips for Men and Women

Winter can worsen dandruff due to dry air and indoor heating. Whether you're a man or a woman, these simple steps can help you combat dandruff effectively.

1. Use Anti-Dandruff Shampoo:

Pick a shampoo that has active ingredient that treats the scales, such as zinc pyrithione or ketoconazole. Use that shampoo to wash your hair 2-3 times a week.

2. Hydrate Your Scalp:

Cold air sucks moisture out of your scalp. Massage natural oils like coconut or argan oil into your scalp before washes to keep your scalp moisturized.

3. Scalp Exfoliation:

Scalp exfoliation is the key to refreshing its growth. Use any gentle scour on your scalp or mix it with sugar and your shampoo-made product.

4. Stay Hydrated:

Drink plenty of water to keep your scalp and skin hydrated from the inside.

5. No Hot Showers:

Rather than hot, if you have lukewarm water, it will keep your scalp moisture-balanced.

6. Use a humidifier:

Moistening the dry indoor air would mean less dried-up scalp.
